A very fine antique silk Tabriz prayer rug, North-West Persia The ivory field with single column at each end and hanging mosque lamp pendant, mihrab above with delicate angular vine and shaded ang-de-boeuf floral cross-panel, in light golden-yellow border of polychrome palmettes, rosettes and delicate floral meander between multiple floral stripes, minute loss at each end (secured), minute localized wear towards one end otherwise good condition 163cm. x 125cm.(5ft.4in. x 4ft.1in.)
