A VICTORIAN SILVER-MOUNTED CUT-GLASS CLARET JUG, A GEORGE V DRINKS TRAY AND A SILVER-PLATED SALVER The jug maker's mark of C. Boyton, London, 1883; the tray Birmingham, 1911; the last Elkington & Co., with Registration mark for January 30, 1877 The long glass neck cut with hob-nails, compressed lower body, the long mount chased with flowering foliage, twice centering vacant shaped quatrefoil cartouche, with "bamboo" loop handle, the partly high domed decorated cover topped by beaded bud finial-- 12in. (30.4cm.) high ; the rounded, long rectangular, tray engraved with lush foliate band, with openwork border centering two cut-outs for handles-- 20in. (50.8cm.) long ; the fan shaped salver engraved with butterfly landing on swaying flowers, another butterfly above in front of flowering branch, with openwork end, the rim with openwork floral panels centering anthemion, the ends with dragon's mask-- 22½in. (57cm.) across ; the drinks tray-- 30.5oz. (3)
