A vintage Rolex Oyster stainless steel cased gentleman's wristwatch, circa 1945, ref. 4377, circular champagne dial with gold Roman numerals and small black minute markers, blued steel hands and centre seconds, 15 jewel movement signed Rolex, case number 322137 stamped to case back, inside case stamped 'Brevette, Rolex S.A. Geneve-Suisse, 31 Victories, Haute Precision' and '4377', screw down crown stamped 'Rolex Oyster', on a contemporary light brown leather strap with Rolex branded clasp, 26mm dial, 34mm case, 36mm across crown, 19mm inside lugs, 39.2g gross. Notes: in good working condition, winds well and hands set well, runs across 1hr test, however Batemans cannot guarantee its continued operation. In generally good condition, however the screw down crown is difficult to tighten and can easily pop out, the dial is in good condition with very few marks, the crystal does have various scratches from use, the case has various light scratching overall from use but no deep scratches and the wear is nice and even overall, the strap seems to have plenty of life left as well.
