A well detailed static display model of the cargo ship S.S.'Arcscott' of London built for Sir Joseph W.Isherwood & Co.Ltd. by Messrs. Wm.Hamilton & Co.Ltd. and modelled by Sinclair Model Engineering Company Ltd. Glasgow. --13 x 48in (33 x 122cm). With masts, radio aerials, derricks, rigging and deck details including anchors and winches, cleats and bollards, hose reels, deck rails, companionways, ventilators, hatches, cargo winches, glazed wheelhouse with open bridge over, ship's wheel, binnacle, D.F.loop, fire buckets, water tank, stayed funnel with hooter, ladder and safety valve extension pipes, engine room lights, aft deck house, two lifeboats and ship's boat in davits with bottom boards, thwarts and oars and much other fine detailing. The hull finished in brown, red and black has pale green decks, white upper works, silver and gold plated fittings and four blade bronze propellor. Mounted on two turned metal columns, in original mahogany glazed case, (some restoration) .
