A well engineered 1½in. scale model of an Allchin Single Cylinder Two Speed, Four Shaft General Purpose Traction Engine , built by T.A. Naylor with brazed copper boiler with fittings including water gauge with shut-off cocks, pressure gauge, safety, blower, injector, waterlift and clack valves and washout plug. Engine details include cylinder 1in. bore x 1½in. stroke, footplate controlled drain cocks and pipes, mechanical lubricator, Stephenson's link reverse, bolted, wedged big end, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass, two road speeds, belt driven Pickering governor (dummy) , bearing oil pots and spoked flywheel. Chassis details include spud pan and ten spuds (uncut) , spoked straked wheels, sprung front axle, damper, injector, water lift, cable, cable drum and fairleads, tender level test cocks, band brake, wooden footboard and toolbox, finished in maroon, red, black and polished brightwork -- 16½ x 25in.
