A well engineered and presented 3½in. gauge model of the LNER Class B2 4-6-0 locomotive and tender No. 1671 "Royal Sovereign"
A well engineered and presented 3½in. gauge model of the LNER Class B2 4-6-0 locomotive and tender No. 1671 "Royal Sovereign", with brazed superheated copper boiler with fittings including water and pressure gauges, valve chest pressure gauge, safety, blower, injector, whistle, clack and blowdown valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with Walschaert's valve gear, fluted motion, mechanical lubricator, twin eccentric driven feed pumps and bypass ( one not connected ), brake gear, injector, whistle and other details ( bogie detached ). Tender details include hand operated feed pump and brake gear, working leaf springs and other details, steps, hand and lamp irons, finished in finely lined LNER livery as for the Royal Train ( some minor paint loss ) -- 25.5 x 118cm. (10 x 46½in.)
