The straps bearing the post 1902 crown over a crossed sword and baton with three silver lace stars below, correct KC Flag rank finial buttons. The Flag rank waist belt of black leather and gold lace inlays, KC clasp and ornate gilt metal sword sling buckles. The whole contained in the japanned metal carrying tin, this with brass plaque, 'Admiral F.S. Phipps Hornby'. All items retailed by 'Gillott & Hasell, London & Portsmouth'. The miniature medal group comprises the WW1 1914-15 trio WW2 Defence Medal 1939/45 Medal and a bronze Norwegian medal 1940-45 'Alt For Norge'. The ribbon the WW1 War Medal bears six bars, Mediterranean 1914 North Sea 1915 North Sea 1916 Jutland 31 May 1916 North Sea 1917 North Sea 1918. Excellent overall condition.
