Air Mail cover 1933 (10 May) two second issue airmail envelopes addressed to E. Nordstom, each bears 45c. Air stamps with 11c. postage and the special chop in violet, the covers are addressed to Changsha (two different arrival backstamps) and to Hankow, both clean and fine. Also with the Postal Notice No.1196 with a note to Mr Nordstrom and a strike of the cachet sent from the printers along with other background documents. 155 covers were carried on this flight, of which 32 were dropped at Changsha as the plane did not land there. This is the first dropped mail of China. Muller 55,a. (2)
