(1½x2¼"), two are a bit larger. Many with ink captions. Images laid down on both sides of stiff album leaves in an accordian-syle folding album of evidently Japanese manufacture, with cloth covers having an embossed floral design on front. Album is 13x18.5 cm. (5½x7½"). Interesting series of views taken by or of an English woman on tour, most of Japan including the Hotel Takino at Sano, sailboats at Suma, gardens and streams at Miyajima, boats at Akashi, one captioned "On the beach" with a topless Japanese woman, street anfd harbor scenes in Kobe, locals gathering oysters, various temples and gardens, etc. There are also a few of Siberia, including a Russian Steamer at Vladivostock and Harbin Station. Eight are of the tourists' back home in England. Of note is a magazine clipping showing a miniature camera affixed to one of the leaves, with the ink notation "The camera with which I took all my small photographs. CES."
