As Bill and Dr. Bob found it necessary to let alcoholics know that there was help for them, putting their experiences in writing seemed the most effective approach. But as the book started coming together, Bill realized that he needed an program for the alcoholic to follow. The result, of course, is history. Condition: Minor shelf wear, especially at spine ends. Discoloration of pastedowns because of adhesive. A few scattered pencil marks. Otherwise, very good.
