(11 7/8 x 8 1/8 in.), nineteenth-century calf, sides with palmette and leaf roll-tooled borders in gilt and blind, spine in six gold- and blind-tooled compartments, turn-ins with gilt neoclassic roll-tool, yellow endpapers, g.e., upper cover detached, slight scuffing to extremities, minor horizontal crease through most of text block, repaired tear to p4 catching 6 letters, traces of erased drawing (a copy of the anchor device) on last page .
