Condition : lightly stained not affecting text, some occasional spots; rubbed. [With:] Poetae Christiani Veteres. Venice: Aldus, c. 1501. Volume one in two parts. Ms. notes and index bound in, dampstains not affecting text. Original paper backed boards, ms. title to spine. Condition : worn. [With:] ARISTOPHANES . Comoediae undecim . Venice: D. Jacob, 1538. 8vo (156 x 94 mm). Woodcut printer’s device to title. Red morocco, spine tooled in gilt, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. Condition : lightly rubbed, small gouges to covers. Provenance : Library of Reverend Wm. Major Scott, M.A. (bookplate).
