Alessandro Pianon Italian, 20th century Pulcini Bird, 1960s, for Vistosi Glass and metal Height 12 1/2 inches, width 3 5/8 inches, depth 6 inches. C
Appears to be in generally good condition; no apparent rim chips, hairline cracks or losses to the glass; there is a very faint irregular line that may be a light scratch mark to the glass, located on the curved portion of the top side of the bird's body; there is some uniform cloudiness to the interior of the bird; there is a very small elliptically shaped internally trapped air bubble, located in the green body, in between the feather motifs, in the marking, and not of any real significance; there is some cloudiness or discoloration sandwiched in the area where the copper legs come into contact with the glass, presumably as mode, and not of any real significance; the bird sculpture stands straight and balanced on a table surface.
