This is a finished study for the painting in the collection of the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD. C
4 inch vertical scuff in the upper center with some further scuffs in the sky. Some loss to the paper in the upper left edge. 3/8 inch crescent shaped indentation to the board in the grass at the lower center right. There is inpaint in the sky, water, scattered touches in the grass and road, in the lone boy with hat at the center right and the mother and holding her son and daughter at the center left. There are also some touches in the rooftops at the upper left corner.
