Means’ work has been exhibited at the Harvard Museum of Natural History, Cambridge, MA; the National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa; and the Museum of Fine Arts Houston among others. Her work is held in permanent collections at the Addison Gallery of American Art, Andover, MA; the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
