A brass button marked "SARATOGA" with a smaller led button is affixed to the handle by twisted brass wire. CONDITION: The blade exhibits a gray patina with scattered age spots. Bone handle is cracked in several places and is missing pieces toward the blade. A very nice example of an early American knife with Revolutionary War attribution.
