American Mahogany Long Case Clock. 12 in. painted metal dial with black painted Roman hour numerals, 5 minute numbers outside, pierced filigree hands, gilt painted corner spandrels, sub seconds dial, sub calendar aperture below exposing the brass calendar ring, 1.5 in. moon phase aperture within a 5 in. 29.5 day calendar dial; brass 8 day 2 weight driven movement with hour strike on a bell at the top of the movement, wooden pendulum stick with brass covered bob, brass 4 spoke pulleys and iron weights. In a mahogany floor standing Massachusetts style case with pierced carved crest, spun brass finials, turned columns on the bonnet over quarter columns and flame mahogany door panel. Has a very old and dirty alligatored finish which appears original, movement is dirty and needs to be cleaned but in running condition, dial has some inpainting, foot bracket is replaced and the pendulum stick is repaired; clock overall just needs to be revived. 89.5 in. high x 19.5 in. wide x 10.5 in. deep.
