Hill 665, first edition of 1648], folio, by E.Cotes, and to be sold by John Sweeting, 1655. ⁂ The second and best edition of the first non-Spanish description of the Spanish territories in the New World. Gage spent a dozen years in Central America, living for much of the time amongst the Indians. This edition contains 4 engraved maps not included in the first edition of 1648.
