Comprising a group of Doulton Lambeth ware relief decorated with vignettes of men drinking or smoking and running hounds, comprising pitcher impressed oval DOULTON & CO LAMBETH LIMITED and P, height 7in, individual teapot, impressed DOULTON LAMBETH ENGLAND, RN and a; miniature jug impressed ROYAL DOULTON LAMBETH with D cipher, a and 2078(?), height 2½in, and beaker impressed R; Doulton mug inscribed Bitter must be the cup that a smile will not sweeten, impressed lion, crown and D cipher Royal Doulton England and 5422, height 4in; group of three relief decorated pitchers, decorated with fern specimens or festooned with grapevines, each unmarked, heights between 5 and 9in and ‘Prince of Wales’ pitcher relief molded with an allover pattern of armorials with banner inscribed Ireland Wales England Scotland, relief circle mark ALBION 12 W.B. COBRIDGE enclosing design registry diamond for October 14th, 1863, height 7in Second half 19th century
