AN AUSTRIAN SILVER FIVE-PIECE TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE WITH TRAY FROM THE ROYAL HOUSE OF HANOVER** MAKER'S MARK OF J.C.KLINKOSCH, VIENNA, 1835-1836 Comprising: a kettle-on-stand, coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl, cream jug, and tray; each squat circular and fluted, with chased flowers, with branch-form handle and spout, the teapot, coffee pot, and kettle with ivory insulators, the domed cover with baluster fluted finial, the kettle stand on four scroll feet, and detachable burner; the tray shaped oval with cast shell and scroll border, and two foliate-capped and shell handles, the field flat-chased with flowers, scrolls, and diaperwork, each engraved with mirror cypher EAR beneath Royal crown, each marked on lower body, the tray marked on field, the kettle stamped J.C. Klinkosch and also marked on cover; each base engraved EA Fs. The kettle-on-stand 16 in. (40.6 cm.) high, the tray 27½ in. (70 cm.) long over handles; 356 oz. 10 dwt. (11,090 gr.) gross weight (6)
