An Edwardian 18ct gold full hunter calendar pocket watch by Sir John Bennett Ltd, the white dial with Roman and Arabic numerals with outer seconds track, subsidiary dials for moonphase, day, date and month, set to a plain polished case, marks for Fred Thoms, London 1901, 55mm diameter, engraved 'Sir John Bennett Ltd, Makers to the late Queen Victoria, 65 Cheapside, London E.C, weight 164.5gms Your attention is drawn to our important notice regarding Trevanion & Dean's sale of watches found in our Terms & Conditions, please read this prior to bidding. Overall condition is fair. Dial: no cracking or chipping. Minor wear to numerals only. Minor wear to subsidiary dials only. Hand to one subsidiary dial is broken and missing. Other hands show minor to moderate rusting. Watch glass is completely absent. Case: Moderate to heavy scratching to front and reverse exterior covers, some minor scratching and wear to inside cover. Some minor pitting to sides. No signs of denting or thinning. No engravings to covers or exterior. This watch is currently not in working order. It is fully wound, and ticks for a short time, but stops after a few seconds.
