The jar with a flat base, tapering sides and rounded shoulders, inscribed with four columns of hieroglyphs reading: "A magical spell: O Osiris, may your two arms embrace (?) that which is within you in order to protect Qebehsenuf who is within you, [for] the one who is venerated under Qebehsenuf, the scribe and overseer of the craftsmen of the Lord of the Two Lands [named] Ipey, the justified," the lid human headed, wearing a plain wig framing the triangular face and a false beard, the eyes with modelled upper lids, extending cosmetic lines and conforming brows, the veining of the stone artfully exploited 16¾ in.
