An Egyptian Bronze Figure of Ptah, 26th Dynasty, 664-525 B.C. standing on an inscribed rectangular base with steps in front, his hands emerging from his cloak and holding the was-scepter and ankh, and wearing bracelets, broad beaded collar, striated wavy beard with copper-inlaid beard straps, and close-fiting cap with engraved tassel falling over the cloak in back, his face with gold-overlaid eyes and copper-inlaid eyebrows. Height from modern base 6 1/8 in. 15.6 cm.
