AN EGYPTIAN CORNELIAN SEAL FOR AMENOPHIS III NEW KINGDOM, DYNASTY XVIII, CIRCA 1390-1352 B.C. With Apis bull and jar in front, Men-kheper-re (prenomen of Tuthmosis III), the reverse incised with Neb-maat-re (prenomen of Amenophis III); and a group of Egyptian amulets including an amethyst scarab, Dynasty XVIII, circa 1450-1320 B.C.; two glazed steatite scarabs; a haematite frog; a green glazed composition conical gaming piece; three cornelian poppy-head beads; a cornelian ram-headed Amun bead; two blue glazed frit fragments, one with lotus decoration, the other with hieroglyphs, all New Kingdom, circa 1450-1292 B.C.; other amulets including a turquoise glazed composition head of Ptaichos, mainly circa late 1st millennium B.C.; a black diorite pig; and a red jasper figure of Tueris(a lot) 2 in. (5 cm.) high max.
