One side, carved in sunk relief with a helmeted Athena standing with spear and shield within a shrine, the columns with debased palm-leaf capitals supporting an arched pediment, the temple steps indicated, foliate design on either side of the goddess, the other side a funerary scene with the deceased reclining upon a couch, a couchant Anubis above, within a shrine with similar columns supporting a gabled pediment with acroteria, on the base of the couch a griffin, a vessel, and a deity, with a Greek inscription below for (H)arpocrates, 16in. (40.6cm.) high
