AN ENGLISH SATINWOOD, MARQUETRY AND PENWORK SIDE TABLE 19TH CENTURY, INCORPORATING EARLIER ELEMENTS The broken D-shaped maple and kingwood crossbanded top with a leaf-and-berry edge centred by a fan and with ribbon-tied foliate and floral swags, above a tablet-centred frieze inlaid with foliate quatrefoil-filled roundels on square tapering, amaranth-banded legs inlaid with ribbons and with curved corner spandrels with rams' heads and spade feet, with a storage label indistinctly inscribed in pencil, the carcase probably 18th century, the veneers and decoration 19th century 33½ in (85 cm.) high; 54 in. (137 cm.) wide; 24 in. (61 cm.) deep
