Title: An Episode of the Beech Hill Golf Links...Read before the members of the Club, as the presentation of prizes won in the Tournament, August 29th, 1899 - a hand-written poem Author: A Member of the Beech Hill Golf Club Place: Hopkinton, NH Publisher: Date: 1899 Description: 12 pp. of manuscript poem by an unidentified author, plus a cover page with the above title and a dedication page, with a yellow ribbon laid in. 20x12.5 cm. (7¾x5"). The first leaf (after the title page) contains a dedication from the author to Miss Kate Pearl Kimball. Following that is the clever poem about a day at the Beech Hill Golf Links. The golf course is no longer present at this once popular destination near Hopkinton, New Hampshire. A great piece of American historical golf memorabilia. Lot Amendments Condition: Small mark on front cover from removed tape, some very faint smudging scattered about; near fine. Item number: 214144
