The muscular nude satyr standing with splayed feet, turning to his right, his exaggeratedly large right hand held palm-outwards, the left arm missing, with a full, rounded beard and beady eyes beneath modelled lids, his hair bound in a cloth, the flat integral base with pointed ends suggesting the figure was originally on the lid of a vessel 3 9/16in. (9.1cm.) high
