An extensive Coalport and Spode composite Imari-pattern dinner-service Circa 1810, the Spode circa 1820 Each piece decorated with flowering shrubs and willow issuing from pierced rockwork in a fenced garden within elaborate panelled diaper and flower patterned borders and gilt-line rims, comprising: A rectangular two-handled soup-tureen, cover and a Spode Ironstone stand, the tureen with gilt cornucopia handles and finial (crack to cover) Two oval two-handled soup-tureens and covers, with gilt scroll handles and finials (one base restored) A shallow oval soup-tureen and cover with gilt strap handles and flat oval button finial Eight oval two-handled sauce-tureens, covers and stands (one base restored) Two rectangular sauce-tureens, covers and stands and a ladle, with gilt lion mask handles and recumbent lion finial Two square vegetable-dishes and covers with gilt recumbent lion finials Eleven shaped rectangular vegetable-dishes and seven covers, with gilt scroll finials (two covers with slight chips to underside) A square salad-bowl Nine lozenge-shaped dishes Three lobed oval dishes Four shell-shaped dishes (one stained) Three shaped square dishes A grooved shaped rectangular meat-dish Four shaped rectangular serving-dishes in two sizes Thirty-four oval serving-dishes in eight sizes (one cracked, another with chip to underside) Forty-eight soup-plates (two chipped, seven with slight star-cracks, one with footrim chip) Sixty-three dinner-plates (one chipped, one with restored rim chip, two with slight star-cracks to centre) Nine Spode dinner-plates (pattern number 1741) Forty-eight dessert-plates (four with short hair cracks to rims, two with star cracks to centres, one with chip and crack; one is a later replacement) (some rubbing to gilt rims throughout)
