AN IMPORTANT AND HIGHLY RARE MUGHAL-CUT GOLCONDA DIAMOND The unmounted diamond weighing 24.77cts With certificate 9904344 dated 04/05/99 from the Gbelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the diamond is Fancy Light Orange-Pink, SI2 clarity With appendix stating that, "The Fancy Light Orange-Pink diamond of 24.77cts possesses an antique cutting style which is rarely encountered in the gem trade today. In addition, this diamond has properties typical of type IIA natural colour orange-pink diamonds (a chemically very pure type of natural diamond). It displays a colour and degree of transparency which are particular to these unique gemstones. Diamonds of this type, exhibiting an antique cutting style as well as a fine quality, are very rare and will most certainly evoke references to the historic term of GOLCONDA
