AN IMPORTANT NATURAL PEARL AND DIAMOND NECKLACE Composed of fifty-five round and slightly button-shaped white and cream natural pearls measuring from 6.0 to 11.3 mm, joined to the single and brilliant-cut diamond clasp, mounted in 18k white gold, 46.5 cm long, with French assay mark for gold Accompanied by report no. 61501 dated 7 December 2011 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the analysed properties confirm the authenticity of these fifty-five saltwater natural pearls; also accompanied by an appendix stating that the natural pearl necklace possesses outstanding characteristics and merits special mention and appreciation. The described necklace contains natural pearls of impressive size combined with an attractive and matching colour and surface lustre. Their colour is subtly ranging from white to slightly cream. Some of the pearls show rosé and green overtones, poetically also referred to as the "orient of pearls", which is an iridescence effect caused on the surface of these pearls and which contributes to the beauty of these pearls. The combination of well-balanced trace elements found in these pearls is characteristic for saltwater pearls. It is rare to assemble a selection of saltwater natural pearls of this size and quality.
