In addition, this gemstone has been spared of thermal treatment. Such a combination of characteristics is rare in natural Kashmir sapphires of this size With report no. 48696 dated 16 May 2007 from the SSEF Swiss Gemological Institute stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indication of heating
