AN IMPORTANT SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND RING Set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing approximately 25.45 carats, flanked on either side y ay shield-shaped diamods, mounted in platinum and 18k gold, ring size 6 With report no. 0705122 dated 16 May 2007 from the Gübelin Gemological Laboratory stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indication of heating; accompanied by an appendix stating that the sapphire possesses a richly saturated colour and a finely proportioned cut. In addition, this gemstone has been spared of thermal treatment. Such a combination of characteristics is rare in natural Kashmir sapphires of this size With report no. 48696 dated 16 May 2007 from the SSEF Swiss Gemological Institute stating that the sapphire is of Kashmir origin, with no indication of heating
