AN INDO-PORTUGUESE IVORY-INLAID FALL-FRONT CABINET NORTH WEST INDIA, 17TH CENTURY Of rectangular form, the front opening to reveal six drawers, the hinges worked as elongated trefoils, the inlaid decoration arranged around a central panel of floral scrolls with geometric borders, the back with simple floral borders only, the brass mounts probably a later replacement, two iron handles on the sides, with lock and key 8 3/8 x 13 1/8 x 9½in. (21.2 x 33.4 x 24cm.)
