John Carr the arched case with single handle over a well moulded cornce and unusual pierced brass side sound frets on a plinth base with brass ogee bracket feet, the signed 6 inch arched painted dial with roman and arabic numerals and regulation dial in the arch, the gut fusee movement with four knopped pillars and deadbeat escapement, repeating the hours and the quarters on two bells and hammers, sold together with a later mahogany wall bracket (40cms)
