AN UNUSUAL SEMI-TRANSPARENT SEA-GREEN TOURMALINE 'BATS AND CLOUDS' BOTTLE1820-1900
Of slightly bulbous rounded spade-shaped, carved in relief around the entire body with bats amidst cloud scrolls, below a slightly waisted plain cylindrical neck, the attractive stone with horizontal crystalline markings to the matrix, and one side with a triangular inclusion of paler green with a black outline, the foot formed by a shallowly cut concave oval.
