A highly unusual keywound cylinder watch with Bagnolet calibre, set within an Empire Français 50 Francs gold coin, the key with the Portrait of the Duke of Wellington Unsigned, circa 1865 Finely engraved floral and scroll decorated gilt-finished Bagnolet calibre movement, ruby cylinder escapement, male keywinding, silver dial, Roman numerals, in Empire Français 50 Francs coin dated 1865, the portrait of Emperor Napoleon III to the reverse, the head of the matching male key with the portrait of the Duke of Wellington and inscription "Waterloo" to the reverse, later 8K gold chain, unsigned 28 mm. diam.
