Gelatin silver print mounted to board, 9 3/8 x 7 3/8 in. (23.8 x 18.7 cm), framed. Condition: Good. N.B. Adams began making the Special Edition series of prints in 1958. They were approved by him, but made by assistants. He signed them until around 1972 and initialed them until 1974. The Special Edition prints continued to be made, but without Adams's signature or initials because he wanted to distinguish them from his fine photographs, which he printed himself. New prints from the series are still made by Alan Ross who began as Adams's assistant in 1974.
