Vers 1898-1917Eucalyptus sculpté et fer forgé84 x 111,2 x 61 cm ; 33 ⅛ x 43 ¾ x 24 in.Condition reportGood overall condition, consistent with age and use.The Eucalyptus presents with discoloration and liquid stains, as well as scattered losses of varnish, the more visible one in a semi-circular shape located on the center.There are light scratches as well as tiny dents on the seat of the bench, and on the backrest, most of them inherent to the making.On its upper part, the backrest presents with a crack inherent to the aging process of the wood.The armrest present with old insect holes on the edges and with losses of wood (the more important one of approximately 6 cm long).The tablet presents with more visible scratches and with old insect holes mainly located on one side and on the edges. The tablet also presents with brown paint stains, one red pencil mark and one black circular stain.There is a wood lifting on the back edge of the seat, and cracks on both side, which are not affecting the stability of the piece. Tiny losses of wood on the corners of the seat.On the same edge, there is two tiny white liquid residue.The wrought iron is oxidized throughout, with scattered rust stains and presents with dust. One trace of white paint on a side.The wood feet present with dents, scratches and losses of black paint. One screw is missing on a front foot. A more visible loss of wood on a back foot.
