The outline of Baffin Island corresponds with most of the expeditions of the 19th century, but the separation of it into 7 islets is unusual. The erroneous outlines of the north coast of Devon Island and the southern coast of Ellesmere Islands suggest it was drawn after 1890 but before the Sverdrup expeditions of 1899-1902. In French, on paper, pencil, ink, pen and wash, grid of latitude extending from approx. 65°N to 79°N and longitude from approx. 50°W to 130°W, mounted on a larger sheet of paper.
