Kitae (forging pattern): itame hada with some mokume hada in ji-nie
Hamon (tempering pattern): regular gunome, the apex with rounded heads, clusters of nie in the valleys, with ashi and some faint utsuri
Bōshi (tip): notare
Nakago (tang): ō-suriage with two holes and kiri file marks
Habaki (collar): one-piece, gold-foil with nekogaki ("cat scratch") pattern
Nagasa (length from tip to beginning of tang): 28 1/8in (71.4cm)
Motohaba (width at start of tempered edge): 1 3/16in (3.01cm)
Sakihaba (width before tip): 13/16in (2.06cm)
