First Item: Paper is hinged at upper left and right corners with non-archival tape, and glue stains have penetrated through to front. 3/4" area of brown circular spots in center have penetrated through paper to back. Tiny spots of splattered soiling in lower left quadrant. Some toning. Second item: May be a painted-over photoreproduction. Yellowed varnish. Craquelure throughout. 3/4" area of inpaint at right center, below figure in background, possibly filled-in abrasions. Varnish makes it difficult to detect possible earlier restoration under UV light.
