I cannot see a free date", 28 October 1915); Hugh Black (typed letter reading "I am sorry it is not possible for me to take the service you ask for in September. I expect to be in Scotland only for a very few days and will not take any engagements", 4 June 1910); Hugh Cecil (letter signed, declining Morris's invitation, 24 March 1909); Charles F. Aked (typed letter saying "I thank you for your kind invitation, but a holiday is for a holiday.
