Lot of 8, each undated, ca 1920s-1930s. First for "Daredevil Stunts in the Air," Tracy -- Next Sunday. Les Wheeler, Bill Cocking, Fred Monroe. 6 x 9 in. Someone has penciled "1926" on top. Second "Parachute Leap, Saturday and Sunday Oct. 29-30 / 3 p.m. at Springhill Air Port, 3 Miles West of Plainfield on Route 40." (Plainfield is a suburb of Indianapolis). Third - "Oh! Boy! Death Defying Stunts." At bottom, "Adults 25c _________Children 10c," to which someone has added "real cute" to the line before "children." 4.75 x 10.75 in. Fourth - "Do You Know that a Full Sized Air Ship (not a model) that has flown, is on exhibition in full working order at Market St. opp. Call Building From 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Every Day...." (San Francisco). Fifth - "Airplane Rides $1.00 Long High Ride, $2.00... Special! Free Stunting Exhibition Located Four Miles South of Osawatomie, on Highway No. 7 Sunday, May 24." Sixth - "4,000-Foot Parachute Jump, O.P. Meadows Farm, West of Pattonsburg, Sun. Oct. 22nd." (Missouri) Also airplane rides, stunt flying and "Lionel Barrymore in 'One Man's Journey' at the Mainstreet Theatre." A cardboard advertisement from Admission Free 4000 ft Parachute Jump Airplane Rides at Wiggins Local Airport on Xmas Day. Features an illustration of a red Inamn bi-plane and an adventurous parachutist. Ca late 1920s or early 1930s. Measures 7 x 11 in. A pristine cardboard advertisement from the Civil Air Corps Flying Clubs offering Free Ground Training to Members featuring a red Civil Air Corps. bi-plane. Measures 10 x 14 in. Condition: Third with some toning. Fourth has small tear at top with a bit of missing paper, not affecting any text. Also toning on about 2/3 of the sheet (apparently where something like a newspaper clipping was in contact with it.
