In 1927, Ruth was actively playing baseball for the New York Yankees; it was during this year that he claimed his 60th home run, setting a record that lasted 34 years. Together with the success of Babe Comes Home, his second film, and his legendary status on the baseball field, Ruth continued his run as The Sultan of Swat and a legendary figure.
