Provenance: signature on endpaper, unidentified bookplate. FIRST EDITION. PARK, Mungo (1771-1806). Travels in the Interior Districts of Africa , London: for John Murray 1816 - 1815. 2 volumes, 4to (271 x 215 mm). Half titles, engraved portrait, 4 folding engraved maps, 5 engraved plates and an engraved plate of music. (Slight browning and offsetting). Contemporary calf, gilt roll-tool borders , spines gilt within raised bands. (Slightly rubbed, joints split). Provenance: R Parker (small library stamp). With a 4-volume set of Vaillant's Travels.
