BAKER, Sir Samuel (1821-1893). Autograph letter signed to Carl Christian Giegler, 28 April 1878. 4 pages, 8vo, with autograph envelope to Giegler at Khartoum . This letter from Baker mentions the receipt of a letter from Emin Pasha at Mrooli in Unyoro and comments on how strange it is that the only European in the region should be a German (Emina Pasha).
