The Bandon Corps of Yeomanry, raised circa 1777, consisted of various companies of yeomen formed from various Orange Lodges, including the Bandon and Boyne lodges. ''Padraig O'Snodaigh ''The Irish Volunteers 1715-1793'' records the Bandon Boyne Cavalry as being active during the years 1778 and 1781-84. Another identical shoulder belt plate of the Bandon Boyne Yeomanry was sold in these rooms on 1st September 1999 (William Kearney Collection, lot 163).
