Beethoven, Ludwig van. AUTOGRAPH RECEIPT SIGNED ("LUDWIG VAN BEETHOWEN"), FOR HIS ALLOWANCE FROM PRINCE KINSKY IN 1817 with the title by Beethoven ("Quittung"), in which he acknowledges receipt of six hundred florins from Kinsky's treasury, to cover the period between 1 April and 1 September 1817, in which the composer initially specifies the wrong periods and subsequently deletes and corrects the names of the months ("...in Folge des...Standrechtlichen Dekrets des 18 Jänner 1815 an Unterhaltungsbeytrag seit oktober [corrected to: "april"] [1] 817 bis letzten März 818 [corrected to: September [1]817]..."), 1 folio leaf (c.36 x 21.5cms), witnessed in another hand at the foot of the page, extending onto the top of the verso, papered seal, two neat stamps at head of the recto and another on the verso of the leaf, 2 pages in all, on a guard, modern quarter calf gilt, some creasing and light browning
