Brown patina to all metal components, with fishmouth shaped hammers and single trigger action. Walnut flat-wrist stock, with brass fittings and a modern ramrod. Double-barrel side-by-side percussion sidelock shotgun. Item shows Belgian proof marks to barrel flats, but no manufacturer mark on rib. Rib is marked REAL TWIST. Ramrod unable to pass through wedge pin channel. Condition: Fair. Bores are dark with patina and oxidation throughout. Barrels show some dings and wear at muzzle. Overall metal finish is a deep brown patina with light pitting to lockplates and oxidation to and surrounding nipples. Some pitting to breech end of barrels. Wrist is split behind tang and reinforced with a pair of nails and an adhesive. Further cracking to wrist behind lockplate with a gap at the rear of each plate filled in by a screw. Wedge pin is a replacement, displays recent manipulation wear and mars, and fits poorly. Buttstock fits proud suggesting stock has been sanded. Stock shows handling wear, dings, and mars overall. Actions able to cock and release, but trigger reset fails to function and must be accomplished manually.
