BERNARDI, Prospero. Applausi di Firenze per la Canonizzazione de S. Filippo Benizi propagatore dell'ordine de'servi di Maria Vergine . Florence: Stamperia della Stella, 1672. 2° (291 x 193mm). Half-title, cancel slip tipped-in at F1 line 30 with cancellandum visible underneath, engraved coat-of-arms on title, one engraved portrait (of 2?), 2 plates (of 3?) (one folding), woodcut initials, head- and tail-pieces. (Folding plate repaired along fold, some slight discolouration). Contemporary vellum, ecclesiastical arms to covers (rebacked preserving original spine, endpapers renewed). The two plates illustrate the interior of the Basilica della Santissima Annunziata, the mother church of the Servite order. The copy at the Getty Research Institute also includes a portrait of St. Philip Benizi and an additional plate. Ruggieri 819 (this collation, this copy?). [ With
